Your game stays yours
Last updated: October 6, 2026
You’re trusting us with a game that isn’t out yet. Here’s exactly what happens to it.
Who can see your files
- Only you, and one co-designer if you share a link with them.
- Your files are stored privately. There are no public links, and other users can’t reach them.
- We don’t open your files unless you ask us for help with a problem.
How the analysis works
- We use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to read your rulebook and card data and list the questions players are likely to ask.
- It flags, it never writes. You get questions with page and card references. Nothing is rewritten, and no AI text goes into your rulebook.
- Your files are sent to Anthropic’s API only to run the analysis. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, API data isn’t used to train their models, and Anthropic deletes inputs and outputs from its systems within 30 days. Anthropic may keep data longer if it’s flagged for a usage-policy violation or must be kept by law.
- We never use your files to train or tune any model ourselves.
- AI can be wrong. Findings may be incomplete or mistaken, so treat each one as a question to check.
Helping improve rankings (optional, off by default)
- If you tick “Help improve rankings”, we keep anonymous labels: the type of each finding (for example “timing question”) and whether you accepted or dismissed it.
- We never keep your rules text, card text or game name in that data. You can untick it anytime.
Deleting your data
- “Delete project” removes your files, the text we extracted, the report and your decisions from our database and storage straight away.
- To delete your account, email hello@faqproof.com. We delete all your projects within 30 days.
